Valentine Gifts
Valentine’s Day is special for so many reasons. But the most important part is:
You don’t need to be in a relationship to enjoy it- it’s about love and generosity and feeling great with your people.
I love giving my friends little quirky Vday gifts. Who doesn’t want a little drug spoon with a bow on it?
One of the best Valentine’s Day dates I had was when I was 22 and my Dad took me out for sushi in Coral Gables, FL. That was around the time that we both became aware that it could appear—-CREEPY— if a man in his 50’s was out on Vday with a barely legal girl. But the truth was, I didn’t have a date an he felt sorry for me. I laugh at this memory and I still think it’s special.
My husband, Anthony, also proposed on Valentine’s Day, a longgg time ago. It was magical and a surprise after many years of dating. We went to a tiny little boutique hotel off of the Florida Keys in the town of Islamorada, and enjoyed champagne and called all of our family and friends from our porch balcony.
Happy Valentine’s Day. And if you’re into it, come to my event February 8, 2025. My friend, Meagan Sky, will be performing her live set. I will also have complimentary bubbles and small bites from Gusto. Of course I’m doing a Vday pop-up at the same time….
You can browse my new collection of restored Cartier lighters and ashtrays and catchalls. They are one of a kind, and most important, special.
I will also have amazing my Valentine’s Day gift shop featuring amazing caramels from Le Bon Garcon, kitchy jewelry boxes from Lynartsy, gorgeous pottery from Petrichor + Gold, original valentine cards from Ornament Letterpress, M.C. Pressure. Really beautiful gifts from A Shop of Things and House of Savage. Also excited to feature the most amazing sterling silver jewelry from Cartography as well their hand- stitched lovely hanky. Did I mention cashmere from Pissenlit?
